Heritage Academy Kolkata celebrates Women's Day

Kolkata, Mar 9 (IBNS): The Heritage Academy Kolkata celebrated Women's Day on Monday by organizing a seminar on Women Leadership in Educational Institutions and Corporates.
The seminar comprised of three relevant and contemporary topics on Leadership for Women where each and every woman is facing hindrances to cope with their success in career.
 
In the first session Professor (Dr) Malobika Bhattacharya from Vivekananda College delivered a lecture on “Women and Corporate Leadership”. 
 
She spoke about the strengths of women which focussed on various qualities of women in networking, crisis management, multi-tasking and many more. She also spoke about the regular difficulties faced by women which are in the form of their male counterparts or in the form of “old boy network", wages discrimination, sexual harassment and many more.
 
Professor (Dr).Madhumita Sen- from Moulana Azad College enlightened the students and faculty members by delivering her talk on “Need for Women Leadership in Higher Education” in the second session. She spoke about the social pressures which discourage women in many ways. 
 
In the last session Prof. Molli Ghosh from Rastaguru Surendranath College gave her in-depth lecture on “Sexual Harassment of Women in work place”.
 
The seminar was inaugurated by Prof. B.B Paira, Academic Adviser, Kalyan Bharti Trust.  Prof.Gour Banerjee the Principal of ‘The Heritage Academy’ gave his valuable inaugural speech on Women’s Day in the presence of Prof. B.B.paira and other dignitaries.
