FDCI presents fashion collaboration between Pearl Academy, Graduate Fashion Week International

The event took place at the Jio World Convention Centre, India’s largest & foremost venue for marquee exhibitions, conventions, and social events and located in the heart of Mumbai’s business district, Bandra Kurla Complex. 

The show was a great look at collections by very talented students from the top 27 fashion design schools around the world. There was a marked diversity in the look as it decentralised fashion. It was wonderful to watch the design approach taken by students from different schools, as they unveiled their varying perspectives that were not only influenced by personal thinking, but also cultural and social expressions. 

There was a grand design and creative merger of dresses, coats, scarves, textures, embellishments, colours, silhouettes, detailing and weaves that offered a global showcase when it came to the future of fashion.

This international showcase is witnessing an array of cultures to the runway with students from across the globe putting their best foot forward. We are enthralled to see the exceptional presentation come alive today at Lakmé Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI.” said Sunil Sethi, Chairman FDCI.

With Pearl hosting GFWi this year and showcasing some of its best work alongside 27 other globally renowned Fashion Schools at the event adds another important milestone for us.
