British rock band Coldplay has announced a second show in Ahmedabad after tickets for the first one in the city were sold out within minutes since the vending went live on Saturday.

Coldplay was earlier scheduled to perform at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad only on January 25, 2025.

But due to outpouring demand, the band has now announced a second date, January 26, 2025. The venue remains unchanged.

The tickets for the second show went live at 1 pm.

After a gap of eight years, Coldplay is returning to India for concerts. The band, which was formed in 1997 in London, will perform in Mumbai from January 19-21, 2025.

On September 22, BookMyShow's website crashed when the sale of tickets for Coldplay's India tour began revealing the huge excitement of the fans for the concert.

Coldplay, which is driven by Chris Martin, Jonny Buckland, Guy Berryman, Will Champion and Phil Harvey, last performed in India in 2016 as a part of Global Citizen Festival which was held in Mumbai.
