Classical stalwarts perform at Uttarpara programme

Kolkata, Jan 29 (IBNS): Tabla player Pandit Prodyut Mukherjee recently inaugurated and performed at the Uttarpara Sangeet Chakro's 60th Annual Classical Music Programme through a live concert where musical maestros like Hariprasad Chaurasia and Ajay Chakraborty also participated.
Pandit Mukherjee was accompanied by Ustad Kamal Sabri on the Sarangi.
 
On the inaugural day, Mukherjee also laid a wreath in honour of his late guru in tabla, Pandit Shankar Ghosh.
 
 Pandit Jogesh Samsi also performed. 
 
The programme was well received by the discerning audience.
