Kolkata/IBNS: Restaurant chain Chowman is set to celebrate World Water Day keeping in mind the importance of water amid the growing sanitization to combat COVID-19.

Debaditya Chaudhury, who is the managing director of Chowman and Oudh 1590 and also the founder-member of the Bangla Rock Band “Lakkhichhara” said, “For five years, we have been spreading the consciousness about saving water among our employees. We do everything we can to make sure no water is wasted in our daily operation.

This year we wanted to take the opportunity to encourage people to watch their use of water amidst the global crisis. Saving water is just as important as maintaining hygiene.”

The World Water Day is observed on Mar 22.
