CBSE Class 12 result: Pass percentage drops in Guwahati region

Guwahati, May 28 (IBNS): Girls outshone boys in Guwahati region in the CBSE Class 12 results declared on Sunday.

In this year the pass percentage in Guwahati region recorded 64.3 per cent.

According to the reports, 67.1 per cent girls passed in examination compared with 61.7 per cent.

An official of the CBSE Guwahati regional office said that, a total of 51887 candidates of 460 schools of eight states of North East India had appeared at 293 centres in this year exam.

This year pass percentage of the region recorded drop to 64.3 per cent from 68.24 per cent last year.
