New Delhi, Jan 31 (IBNS): Cambridge English Language Assessment invited several educational institutions across the country to partner with them, by signing Letters of Intent, to work towards developing effective English language communication skills for both teachers and students.

This event, which took place in New Delhi on Tuesday saw the enthusiastic participation by several prestigious institutions such as SGT University - Gurgaon, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology - Greater Noida, ICFAI University - Dehradun and GNA University - Jalandhar.

The event was overseen by Liam Vint, Deputy Director Global Network - Cambridge English Language Assessment and TK Arunachalam, Regional Director - South Asia, Cambridge English Language Assessment.

It is no longer sufficient to learn English language as a subject. It has become a necessity to acquire English language as a vital skill essential for education, employment and success.

Cambridge   English works with several partners across India  to  promote  the  use  of  standardised international   assessments   as benchmark   levels  to improve  the learning  and teaching  of English and is keen to work with many more such partners to give the teachers  and students  access to  international English qualifications.

Cambridge English Language Assessment is already a contributor to the development of English language in many parts of India through their partnerships with various state governments, state and private universities, government and private schools andare keen to build partnerships with leading educational institutions.

Talking about this, Liam Vint stated, “In a world where opportunities are fast-growing and transcend borders, English language communication skills have become vital qualifications in order to succeed in many jobs and organisations. We would like to build partnerships with India’s best educational institutions to make these soft-skills more accessible to all.”
