Assam Royal Global University signs 30 MoUs for global education and NEP 2020 implementation

Assam Royal Global University has signed 30 Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with various institutions across the state to provide globally focused education while implementing the National Education Policy 2020 and fulfilling the university's social responsibilities.

The signing took place at the university campus and was attended by principals, senior faculty, and authorities.

Currently, Assam Royal Global University has existing MoUs with renowned universities and institutions in India and abroad, including Mendel University, Brno, Czech Republic; Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Guwahati; Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT), Mumbai; National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER-G); National Law University and Judicial Academy, Assam (NLUJAA); Institute of Advanced Study in Science & Technology (IASST); Indian Institute of Management Indore; Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat, among others.

This collaboration, initiated by Royal Global University, aims to establish research, faculty and student exchange programs, summer and winter internships, joint consultancy, joint training programs, and the effective implementation of the National Education Policy 2020.

It also includes addressing issues related to National Institute Rating Framework, UGC notifications on collaborative activities, academic program planning, seminars, collaborative project submissions, financial obligations, intellectual property rights, workshops, conferences, and the exchange of teaching, research, and industrial experiences.

Several institutions have signed the MoUs, such as North Lakhimpur College, Darrang College, Dimoria College, Farketing College, JB College, Jorhat, Mangaldoi College, Pandu College, Sibasagar College, Tangla College, Dibrugarh Hanumanbax Surajmall Kanoi College, Sipajhar College, Saraighat College, B.H. College, G.C. College, Gauhati Commerce College, Jorhat Nakachari College, Ramanuj Gupta Degree College, Koliabor College, Sibasagar Commerce College, and B. Borooah College.

Following the signing of the MoUs, an interactive session on the National Education Policy 2020 was conducted.

Eminent panelists, including the Vice Chancellor, Dr. S.P. Singh, the Advisor, Dr. M.K. Chaudhuri, the Dean (Academics), Dr. Ankur Ganguly, and the Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell, Dr. Anuradha Devi, discussed the salient features of the policy and various perspectives on its effective implementation.

The session also addressed queries raised by the participants.
