Artistic expression beyond medicine: Srinagar-based oncologist brushes his emotions on canvas

Dr. Jahangir Aslam, a renowned oncologist posted at JLNM Hospital, Rainawari, Srinagar, has won the hearts of art lovers with his stunning paintings at a two-day art exhibition held at Art Emporium in Srinagar. Visitors were awe-struck by his exceptional talent as an artist.

 "I couldn't believe that Dr. Jahangir Aslam is not only a skilled oncologist but also an incredible artist. His paintings are a true reflection of his artistic genius," said Idrees Bukhtiyar, one of the visitors at the exhibition. 

Organized by the Department of Handicrafts and Handloom, Srinagar, the art exhibition aimed to showcase the hidden art treasures of Kashmir, and Dr. Jahangir Aslam's paintings were a highlight of the event. "We are honored to have Dr. Jahangir Aslam's paintings at our exhibition.

His artwork is a testament to the rich artistic heritage of Kashmir, and we are committed to promoting and showcasing such hidden talents," said Mahmood Ahmad Shah, Director of Handicrafts and Handloom, Kashmir. 

Dr. Jahangir Aslam was overwhelmed with the response and appreciation he received for his artwork at the exhibition. His paintings received rave reviews from visitors and art enthusiasts alike. 

"I am humbled and grateful for the overwhelming response to my artwork. It's a dream come true to see my paintings displayed at such a prestigious event, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my art with others," said Dr. Jahangir Aslam. 

Visitors were delighted and astonished by Dr. Jahangir Aslam's artistic skills and the unique perspective he brought to his paintings. "Dr. Jahangir Aslam's paintings are simply breathtaking. His use of colors and intricate details in his artwork is truly remarkable. I am in awe of his talent," said Bashir Ahmad Bhat, another visitor at the exhibition. 

The success of the art exhibition, featuring Dr. Jahangir Aslam's paintings, was a testament to the Department of Handicrafts and Handloom's commitment to promoting the hidden art of Kashmir and providing a platform for local artists to showcase their talent.
