2 Assam women bag awards at international beauty event held in Malaysia

Kuala Lumpur/Guwahati: Assam's Tarali Sarmah and Sumi Choudhury Das have bought laurels for the nation by representing India in Mrs International Global World Finale 2023.

The event, held in Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur, was hosted by Mrs International Global (MIG), reports North East Now.

The duo made the country proud by bagging the coveted Mrs Photogenic and Mrs. Glamorous awards respectively at the event, the news portal reported.

The event was held between January 9 and 13.

Twenty-three participants from different countries like India, Mexico, Japan, Vietnam, Ukraine, Philippines, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Latin USA, Sri Lanka, Botswana, and China joined the event.
