West Bengal: Corona condition improving in East Midnapore District
Panskura (East Midnapore)/UNI: With no news of fresh corona attack in this district, the number of Covid19 cases have gone down to only 8 from a peak of 21.
But the police have swung into action in specially two blocks of the district -Panskura and Haldia. The areas of Ghoshpur, Chaitanyapur and Gobindanagar in Panskura block have been declared as containment areas.
Police survillence in maintaining lockdown is continuing through miking and patrolling specially in villages like Mysora and Gobindanagar areas.
All the 8 corona cases in the district are being treated in Baroma hospital in Panskura, said Sachindranath Ramakrishna, Health Officer.
