Total Coronavirus positive cases rise to 258, 39 foreigners included

New Delhi/IBNS: A day ahead of the Janata Curfew called by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the total Novel Coronavirus positive cases rose to 258 including 39 foreign nationals on Saturday.

So far in Maharashtra, 52 people have been infected while 40 people have been tested positive in Kerala.

One new positive case has been reported in the state of West Bengal taking the total number to three.

Delhi has also witnessed a jump in the number of positive cases as 26 people in the national capital have been infected.

In Uttar Pradesh, 24 people have been infected.

The Janata Curfew (a nationwide lockdown by public), as called by Prime Minister Modi, will be in place between 7 am and 9 pm on Sunday.

The Prime Minister has asked all citizens to stay indoors for the day to combat COVID-19.
