Spacecraft touches down on comet
Nov 12 (IBNS): Creating history, the European Space Agency (ESA) on Wednesday said it has landed a probe from spaceship Rosetta on a comet.
"We're are on the comet!' #cometlanding," the ESA tweeted.
It had earlier said on its website: "On 12 November, Rosetta’s Philae probe is set to make the first-ever landing on a comet when it touches down on Comet 67P/Churyumov–Gerasimenko."
