Pakistan struggles against COVID-19: Shortage of ventilators, oxygen cylinders hit Makran Division

Islamabad: Pakistan seems to be struggling against COVID-19 and to make things worse the Makran Division of the country is witnessing a shortage in ventilators and oxygen cylinders which are needed for patients to recover from the disease.

Pakistan is passing through a second wave of COVID-19 and the Makran Division has seen a spike of 719 cases on Saturday.

It may be noted that with lack of health facilities, especially ventilators and oxygen cylinders, the infected patients are facing difficulties recovering from complications as despite after government announcement, there was no ventilator installation, reports Ary News.

Pakistan has recorded 8832 COVID-19 related deaths so far.
