Mumbai reports 7,214 new Covid cases, 35 deaths in last 24 hours

Mumbai/UNI: Maharashtra's capital city Mumbai on Tuesday reported 7,214 new cases of Covid-19 during the past 24 hours while 35 people succumbed in the same period.

The fresh additions took the financial capital's caseload to 5,93,906 whereas the death toll mounted to 12,439.

As many as 9,641 were cured and discharged, taking the total recoveries to 4,96,263. The recovery rate stands at 84 per cent.

A total of 45,350 people were tested in the past day.
