Moderate tremor shakes J & K

Srinagar, May 22 (IBNS) A moderate earthquake shook Bhaderwah Pirpanchal range valley in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district on Monday, triggering panic among the people.

The quake, measuring 4.3 on the Richter scale, struck the Bhaderwah belt at 7.16 am, Met officials said.

Panic-stricken people rushed out  of their homes when the quake jolted the Valley. 

The quake's epicentre lay 9km south-east of Bhaderwah.

There is no immediate report of any casualty or damage to property
