Hyderabad: A lot of the IT employees spend time in air conditioned offices and lack proper hydration, due to which they suffer from kidney stones and even have signs prostate cancer",  a health expert has warned.

Men who are into this profession work towards financial stability and marry later in life, which eventually develops several health complications and can effect their fertility,  Dr Chandramohan, Chief Urologist, Preethi Urology Hospital said at a function held here on Sunday on the occasion of the second-anniversary celebration of the hospital.

All these problems have researched medical solutions at Preethi Urology Hospital.

In the last two years, the hospital organized awareness programmes in about hundred gated communities where the highlight was concerning issues such as kidney health, urine output, diabetes and BP, the Urologist said.

With this increased awareness, people have started to bring their parents to the hospital, he said.

Commenting on this regard, Dr Chandramohan, the Managing Director of the hospital, said that most of the patients who come to the hospital are IT and Corporate employees, and their family members. Women who work in IT sector observed urine leakage, elders have observed prostate and other signs of cancer.

Many patients have started to show interest in laproscopic surgeries, which is new.

With a goal to protect the health of people in these surrounding areas we have low cost packages for health and kidney checkups, he said consuming more salt and meat in diet can cause 'kidney problems' .
