India's Covid-19 tally crosses 95 lakh with over 35,000 new cases in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India's Novel Coronavirus tally on Thursday crossed 95 lakh with the reporting of over 35,000 new infections in the last 24 hours.

The country, which has been severely battered by the virus, reported 35,551 cases taking the overall tally to 95,34,965.

With 526 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, the Covid-19 toll has touched 1,38,648.

There are 4,22,943 active Coronavirus cases in the country as 89,73,373 people, who were infected with the virus, have recovered.

The United Kingdom on Wednesday became the first country to grant an emergency approval to vaccine against Covid-19 developed by Pfizer-BioNTech.
