India's coronavirus tally crosses 85 lakh-mark

New Delhi/IBNS: With 45,674 new infections in the last 24 hours, India's coronavirus tally surpassed 85 lakh-mark.

As of Sunday, the country's total cases stand at 85,07,754.

According to the Union Health Ministry's health bulletin, 559 deaths were reported during this period, taking the county's total fatality toll to 1,26,121.

Meanwhile, with 78,68,968 patients recovering from the contagion, India's recovery rate increased to touch 92.49%.
