India witnesses massive spike in COVID-19 positive cases in 24 hours, death toll stands at 6348

New Delhi/IBNS: India witnessed another day of massive spike in the number of Coronavirus cases with  9,851 people testing positive for COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Friday.

The death toll due to the highly infectious disease now stands at  6,348.

India has registered 2,26,770 cases so far.

In the past 24 hours, 273 people have died.

According to Ministry released figures, the number of active cases in the country now stands at 110960.

So far, 109461 people have recovered from COVID-19 in India.
