India reports over 41,000 COVID-19 cases, 507 deaths in 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India reported 41,383 COVID-19 cases while the deaths apparently due to the virus increased by 507 in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry stated Thursday.

The COVID-19 tally has further increased and settled at 3,12,57,720 at a time the fresh data was produced by the government.

With 500 odd new deaths, the COVID-19 toll has increased to 4,18,987.

The recovery rate is presently at 97.35% with 38,652 COVID-19 patients recovering in the last 24 hours.

Under the country's vaccination drive, 41.78 crore anti-COVID-19 vaccine doses have been administered so far.
