India records 7,584 fresh COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours, highest daily surge in 3 months
New Delhi: India added 7,584 more COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the country continued to witness a fresh surge in several parts, data released by the Ministry of Health revealed on Friday.
During the same period, 24 people died due to the viral infection.
India's active caseload currently stands at 36,267.
Active cases stand at 0.08 percent.
Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.70 percent.
3,791 people recovered from the disease in the past 24 hours.
