India records 15,102 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 15,102 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Wednesday.

During the same period, 278 people died due to the virus.

The total death toll due to the deadly virus in the country now stands at 512622.

India's active caseload currently stands at 1,64,522.

Active cases stand at 0.38 percent.

Recovery Rate currently stands at 98.42 percent.

31,377 recoveries were also registered in the last 24 hours.

Positivity rate of the country is now 1.28 percent.
