India records 14,313 new COVID-19 cases in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India, the nation which witnessed a massive surge in cases during the second wave of the pandemic in recent times, registered 14,313 new COVID-19 new cases in the last 24 hours, the lowest daily count in the past 224 days, as per the Ministry of Health website.

The recovery rate from the disease now stands at  98.04 percent.

India also registered 181 deaths in the past 24 hours due to the deadly virus.

It is the highest figure since March 2020.

26,579 people recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours.

Active cases account for less than 1 percent of total cases.

It currently stands at 0.63 percent.

India's Active caseload stands at 2,14,900.
