India records 12,899 new Covid cases in last 24 hours

New Delhi/IBNS: India recorded 12,899 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, the Union Health Ministry said in a statement on Sunday.

With this, India's active caseload currently stands at 72,474, which is 0.17 per cent.

The recovery rate is presently at 98.62 per cent with 8,518 recoveries in the last 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 196.14 crore vaccine doses have been administered so far under the Nationwide Vaccination Drive.
