India records 1,270 new COVID-19 cases, 31 deaths in past 24 hours

New Delhi: India recorded 1,270 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours as the daily positivity rate touched 0.29 percent,as per data released by the Ministry of Health on Monday.

During the same period, 31 people died due to the virus, cases of which are rising in China and other parts of the world.

India's Active caseload currently stands at 15,859. 

Active cases stand at 0.04 percent.

Recovery Rate currently at 98.75 percent.

1,567 recoveries were also recoded in the past  24 hours.
