India launches indigenous space ShuttleRLV-TD
Sriharikota, May 23 (IBNS): India's first ever indigenous space satellite launch vehicle - Re-usable Launch Vehicle - Technology Demonstrator (RLV-TD) - was launched from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh on Monday, reports said.
It was launched at 7 am.
The RLV-TD is 6.5 meter long.
It weighs around 1.75 tons.
The RLV-TD was designed and built by Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro). The cost of the project was Rs. 95 crore.
