COVID-19: Positive cases cross 1000-mark in Karnataka

Bengaluru/UNI: With the reporting of the detection of 23 more fresh case of the COVID-19 virus, including 15 from Bengaluru Urban district, the total number of persons contracted for the disease in Karnataka was surged past 1,079 on Saturday.

According to official sources, the fresh cases of pandemic, also reported from Hassan (03), one case each from Ballari, Udupi, Mandya, Dharwad, and Davanagere districts.

At present, as many as 548 COVID-19 patients are getting treatment in various Hospitals in the state, while as many as 494 persons, who were tested positive for the pandemic earlier, have been completely cured and discharged.

In Karnataka, as many as 36 persons have lost their lives due to the COVID-19 disease.
