Covid-19: Delhi reports fresh 239 cases, 3 deaths

New Delhi/UNI: The national capital reported 239 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the Delhi government said in a statement on Monday.

Besides, three casualties were also recorded in the same period.

The fresh figures have taken the capital caseload to 6,41,340 while the death toll rose to 10,924.

According to the health bulletin, 47,689 COVID-19 tests were conducted in the past one day. Of these, 35968 tests were done through RT-PCR, gold standard test. So far, Delhi has conducted 12,873,806 tests.

A total of 309 people recovered from the disease during this period, pushing the number of such cases to 628,686.

The city's cumulative positivity rate currently stands at 4.98 per cent.


The number of active cases is 1,730 which includes patients under home isolation. Containment zones as of today are 536.
