COVID-19: Death toll in India touches 543

New Delhi/IBNS: The death toll due to COVID-19 outbreak in India touched 543, as per the Ministry of Health released data on Monday.

The number of COVID-19 cases in the country is now 17265.

There are currently 14175 active cases in the country.

So far, 2546 people have recovered.

India is currently under lockdown till May 3 to avoid the spread of the disease.

Meanwhile, selective relaxation of norms in certain sectors as allowed by the Centre came to force from Monday.

However, they do not apply to hot-spot districts.
