Covid-19: 48 new positive cases reported in Andhra Pradesh, one dies

Vijayawada/UNI: There was no let up in the rise of Coronavirus positive cases in Andhra Pradesh as 48 fresh cases were reported since the last 24 hours and a patient died taking the death toll to 57 in the state.

A health bulletin here on Tuesday said that 8,148 samples of people were tested from 9 am on Monday to 9 am this morning and of which 48 persons were tested positive taking the total number of cases to 2,719.

One patient died of Coronvirus in East Godavari district.

So far 1903 patients have been discharged from various hospitals in the state as they had recovered completely while 759 persons are still undergoing treatment in the state, the bulletin said.
