Coronavirus: 806 people under observation in southern state of Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram/UNI: A total of 806 people who came to Kerala from China are under observation for possible exposure to the novel coronavirus in the State, Health Minister KK Shailaja said here on Wednesday.

Stating that 796 people are under observation in their houses, the Minister said 10 are in different hospitals.

The blood samples of suspected cases were sent to Pune Virology Institute, she added.

She also urged people coming from China to approach the health department and follow the necessary medical instructions to avoid the spread of the virus.
