Cataract operation goes wrong, blinds 11 in Rajkot
Rajkot, Dec 29 (IBNS) Cataract operations in a camp organised by a trust hospital in Rajkot went horribly wrong as 11 people alleged loss of vision post surgery, according to reports.
The medical camp was organised by city's Sadhu Vaswani Hospital a week ago.
After an angry mob protested outside the hospital complaining about the issue on Monday, doctors and other staff members fled the scene.
The state government has ordered a probe into the matter.
