ASSOCHAM submits its report on El Nino, drought to Mamata

Kolkata, June 6 (IBNS): Apex industry body ASSOCHAM on Friday said it has submitted a copy of its report titled ‘El Nino, Drought and Growth Concerns of Indian Economy,’ to the West Bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee.

In its report, ASSOCHAM has highlighted the likely economic implications of a drought taking place in the current fiscal.

Besides, it has also suggested a list of policy measures needed in the case of country witnessing drought at this juncture.
