Assam's Covid-19 tally crosses 36,000 mark, toll mounts to 92

Guwahati/IBNS: Assam on Thursday witnessed a sharp spike in the number of Covid-19 positive cases as the state's overall tally crossed 36,000 mark.

The state has registered 1348 new Covid-19 positive cases in the last 24 hours.

Out of the new cases, 348 cases have been reported from Kamrup (Metro) district while 127 cases detected in Kamrup (Rural) district.

With the new cases, the state's tally has now increased to 36,295.

On the other hand, four more patients died due to the Novel Coronavirus infection in the state in the last 24 hours taking the death toll to 92.
