Atlanta/IBNS: The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has identified three more symptoms related to coronavirus infection.

The new symptoms include runny nose, diarrhoea, and nausea, after which the total number of symptoms have increased to 12.

Breathing difficulty or shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headaches, loss of smell or taste and sore throat are already in the CDC's list.

The agency said that it will continue to add symptoms as it learns more about Covid-19.

It said the infected people could show one or more symptoms and the severity of the illness varies from cases to case. The symptoms appear 2- 14 days after the exposure to  Sar-Cov-2 virus, the agency said.

Everyone is at the risk of getting the infection but people with underlying diseases like heart and lung conditions are likely to develop severe complications of Covid19, it said.

The coronavirus cases across the world is inching closer to 10 million mark while the total number of deaths stand at 4,99,000, according to Johns Hopkins University tracker.
