6.5 earthquake hits California, no casualty
California, Dec 9 (IBNS): An earthquake measuring 6.5 on the Richter Scale hit the Pacific Ocean off the coast of northern California on Thursday, USGS said.
As per the US Geological Survey (USGS) website, the quake was located at an epicentre of latitude 40.475 degrees north and longitude 126.153 degrees west.
It was felt at a depth of 12.1 km.
No casualty has been reported so far.
