Zoom removes President Greg Tomb: Reports

| @indiablooms | Mar 06, 2023, at 01:49 pm

California: Video conferencing platform Zoom has removed its President  Greg Tomb.

Tomb's contract was abruptly terminated "without cause", according to the company in a regulatory filing, reports BBC.

The businessman had taken up the role in June 2022 and had been active on earnings calls and overseeing the company's sales, the British media reported.

A spokesperson for Zoom told BBC the tech firm isn't looking for a replacement.

Zoom was one of the biggest winners during the COVID-19 pandemic period when work-from-home and online conferencing needs increased.

The company, however, slashed 1,300 employees in recent times to deal with falling demand after the pandemic period was over.
