TVS Motor records 38% growth in revenue and highest-ever profit in Q1 2026-27

Automobile major TVS Motor Company posted revenue for the first quarter of financial year 2026-27 at Rs. 13,896 Crores, registering a growth of 38% as against   Rs. 10,081 Crores recorded in the first quarter of 2025-26.

The Company posted its highest EBITDA of Rs. 1,779 Crores with a growth of 41% for the first quarter of 2026-27 as against EBITDA of Rs. 1,260 Crores in the first quarter of 2025-26.

The Company’s EBITDA margin improved by 30bps at 12.8% during the quarter ended June 2026 as against 12.5% in the quarter ended June 2025.

During the current quarter, the Company’s Profit After Tax[1] grew by 51% at Rs. 1,174 Crores as against Rs. 776 Crores during the first quarter of 2025-26.

Commodity prices witnessed a sharp upward trend during the quarter due to global market uncertainties resulting in increased input costs. The Company partially mitigated the cost increases through price adjustments and focused cost optimisation initiatives, including scale benefits.

During the first quarter of the financial year 2026-27, the Company registered the highest ever quarterly sales.

The overall two and three-wheelers grew by 28% at 1.63 Million units as against 1.28 Million units registered in the quarter ended June 2025. Motorcycles sales during the quarter under review grew by 19% recording 0.74 Million units as against 0.62 Million units in the quarter ended June 2025. Scooters sales during the quarter under review grew by 36% at 0.68 Million units as against 0.50 Million units in the quarter ended June 2025.

International Business reported a growth of 33% with sales of 0.47 Million units in Q1 2026-27 as against 0.35 Million units in the first quarter of 2025-26.

Two-wheeler electric vehicles grew by 86% registering sales of 129,940 units in the first quarter of  2026-27 as against 70,060 units during first quarter of 2025-26. TVS Motor now has more than 1 Million delighted EV customers.

Three-wheelers sales for the quarter under review grew by 48% to 66,697 units in the first quarter ended June 2026 as against 44,978 units in the year ended June 2025.
