TTC Singapore announces two management changes

Singapore, Apr 28 (IBNS): International travel group The Travel Corporation (TTC), with over 25 award-winning brands such as Trafalgar's Guided Holidays, Insight Vacations, Contiki Holidays, Uniworld Boutique River Cruises and Red Carnation Hotels, on Monday announced two management changes - the return of Robin Yap as "President - The Travel Corporation Asia", with effect from May 1 this year, and Nick Lim taking on an expanded role at Trafalgar as “President - Trafalgar Asia” as well as being promoted to "President - The Travel Corporation India".
“Given the remarkable, much welcomed recovery of Robin’s health recently, his return to the day-to-day leadership of TTC’s brands throughout Asia allows Nick to expand the footprint of our brands in India, and to focus on the continued, successful growth of Trafalgar in this very important region for the group. Trafalgar’s sales out of Asia have increased three-fold under Nick’s dynamic leadership, and there is significant potential for future growth, given the wide range of superb, appealing guided holidays well suited to Asian travelers,” said Brett Tollman, CEO of The Travel Corporation.

Robin noted that, “I feel great to be back working with an awesome team to expand our business in Asia. The last eight months of semi-retirement at TTC allowed me to look at the business from the different perspective of an “outsider”, and I plan to bring some fresh ideas to the markets in the coming months.  Nick is one of the most talented, driven persons I have worked with, and he has done an incredible job in my absence."

"He is one of those guys you want on your team to drive the business, and we are very appreciative of him stepping up during my absence. Together, we will continue to work very hard to serve our business partners and customers every day, always aiming to exceed their expectations," Robin said.
