Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a strategic partnership with Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG) to support the travel major’s global digital transformation and modernisation efforts.

Flight Centre Travel Group is one of the world’s largest travel companies, with a strong leisure and corporate travel network spanning Australia and New Zealand, the Americas, EMEA, and Asia.

Under the partnership, TCS will leverage its deep expertise in technology, data, and artificial intelligence within the travel sector to future-proof FCTG’s cloud and network services.

The collaboration aims to strengthen operational resilience, modernise service platforms, and streamline core systems across FCTG’s global operations.

The initiative will help consolidate enterprise platforms, unlock greater value from existing technology investments, and enhance performance across FCTG’s global technology stack.

Graham Turner, Chief Executive Officer of Flight Centre Travel Group, said the partnership marks an important step in the company’s ongoing evolution.

“Strengthening our technology backbone remains a priority. We look forward to working closely with TCS to deliver tangible benefits for our people, customers, and shareholders,” he said.

Krishnan Ramanujam, President of the Consumer Business Group at TCS, said the collaboration would focus on simplifying and enhancing customer and employee experiences.

“Together, we are transforming the enterprise technology services of one of Australia’s most iconic travel brands by adopting an AI-first, simplified global operating model,” he said.

As part of the engagement, TCS will support FCTG in developing and executing a clear strategy to improve platform standardisation, drive continuous service-level enhancements, and ensure strong governance through transparent reporting.
