Tata Docomo launches new internet offer

Kolkata, Sept 25 (IBNS): Internet service provider Tata Docomo Photon,on Thursday announced an offer on Photon Max Wi-Fi for the festive season that starts with Durga Pujo.

With this offer, customers buying a Photon Max Wi-Fi device priced at Rs. 1999 along with Rs 649 and above monthly plans can avail a cash back of Rs 1000 through bill value discount over next two months in their bills.

This effectively brings down the cost of the device to Rs 999.

Announcing the offer, Mr. Ashok Ghose, MBU Head – East, Tata Teleservices Limited said, “Tata Docomo has been consistently launching innovative tariffs which are affordable and offer more value to our customers. This festive offer on Photon Max Wi-Fi is in sync with our ideology of offering customer centric services especially during the auspicious time of Durga Pujo when our customers can stay connected with their near and dear ones and continue to share their emotions through chats ,videos and pictures on social networking sites and otherwise. The offer also reflects on the increasing usage of data in the region.”

According to a report by TRAI, the total wireless subscriber base in Kolkata region rose to 21.07 million by March 2014 end. The trend is particularly observed ithin the younger generation who has the need to be connected around the clock.”

Tata Docomo recently announced augmentation of its network in Kolkata, which will allow it to offer an upgraded data speed of up to 9.8Mbps on the Photon Max Wi-Fi Device.

This augmentation will result in faster speeds on the Photon Max Wi-Fi device. The device now enables multi-device connectivity supporting up to 5 devices.
