Sensex ends above 25,000 points
Mumbai, June 6 (IBNS) The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex on Friday rose over 374 points to end at 25,394.
The National Stock Exchange (NSE) Nifty traded 105 points higher at 7,579.
With this, the stock market surpassed the previous highs hit on May 16, when Narendra Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) swept the Lok Sabha elections.
On May 16, Sensex touched 25,375, while the Nifty hit 7,563.
