Petrol price reduced by Re.0.65 per litre

New Delhi, Sept 30 (IBNS); Giving relied to consumers, oil marketing companies have decided to reduce petrol prices by by Re.0.65 per litre in New Delhi.

The new price will be effective from Tuesday midnight.

"Since last price change, petrol prices have continued to show a downward trend. However, the INR-USD exchange rate has been depreciating. The current levels of international oil prices and INR-USD exchange rate warrant a decrease in selling price of petrol in the domestic market. Thus a downward revision in selling price of petrol is being effected w.e.f midnight of 30th Sept /1st Oct'14. With this price revision, RSP at Delhi shall decrease by Rs 0.65/litre (including VAT), with corresponding decrease in other States," Indian Oil said in a statement.
