Microfinance Industry Network (MFIN) elects new chairperson and vice-chairperson
Gurgaon: Microfinance Industry Network (MFIN) announced the appointment of Vineet Chattree as Chairperson and Dibyajyoti Pattanaik as Vice-Chairperson of the MFIN Board.
The association represents RBI-regulated entities, comprising of NBFC-MFI, Banks, Small Finance Banks (SFBs), & NBFCs and a Reserve Bank of India (RBI) recognized Self-Regulatory Organization (SRO).
MFIN made the announcement at its 16th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Gurgaon on 4th July 2025.
Newly-elected Chairperson Vineet Chattree is currently serving as the Managing Director at Svatantra Microfin Pvt Ltd, while Vice-Chairperson Dibyajyoti Pattanaik is a Director at Annapurna Microfinance Pvt Ltd.
The MFIN Board and members welcomed three new members to the MFIN Governing Board: Baskar Babu Ramachandran, MD & CEO, Suryoday Small Finance Bank Ltd, Krishnadas B Nair, EVP & Business Head - Microfinance, Axis Bank Ltd and Gyan Mohan, Director & CEO, Adi Chitragupta Finance Ltd, who joins as the Small NBFC-MFI representative
The board also added new Independent Directors – Veena Mankar, Founder & Director, Swadhaar FinAccess and Saurav Sinha, Ex-Executive Director, Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
