L&T Infotech inducts Chandrashekar Kakal as COO

Mumbai, May 26 (IBNS): L&T Infotech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has restructured its organizational structure and with a view to accelerating profitable growth in the technology space, has appointed Chandrashekar Kakal as its Chief Operating Officer (COO).

He will be inducted on the Board of L&T Infotech Limited.

Kakal has over 30 years of experience in the global IT industry. Prior to joining L&T as COO, he worked for 15 years with Infosys Limited and was a member of the Executive Council and Senior Vice President & Head – Global Delivery.

Kakal has strong leadership competencies of running large and complex delivery organizations. Earlier he had worked with Ramco Systems, Wipro and Ashok Leyland and L&T.
