Jammu and Kashmir: Div Com discusses post lockdown measures for revival of business, tourism sector

Srinagar: Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma Friday said that the government is taking a string of administrative measures to revive the business sector in the province.

He was chairing a meeting of heads of key departments to discuss the post lockdown measures for the revival of the business sector, including tourism trade in the province.

The meeting was attended by senior functionaries of industries, tourism, pollution control board, besides representatives of hotel Associations and other stakeholders.

The meeting discussed various issues related to promotion of the hospitality sector in the Jammu division.

The hoteliers and the regulating authorities raised various areas of concern and underlined the need to address these for sustained growth of the tourism trade and other businesses associated with it.

The Div Com asked the departments concerned to submit action taken report on the recommendations of the Committee constituted by the J&K government for suggesting the relief and revival measures for the business sector.
