INR rebounds by 23 paise against USD

Mumbai, July 11 (UNI): The Rupee on Thursday rebounded by 23 paise to 68.33 on selling for US Dollars by bankers and exporters, dealers at Forex Market said.

The domestic unit increased today on weak dollar against other world currencies along with positive opening in equity market.

However, rising crude oil prices capped the gains. The domestic unit opened on a firm footing at 68.31, at the inter-bank foreign exchange market.

High oscillation was seen during the intra-day today as it registered day high and low at 68.39 and 68.29 respectively, they added.

The rupee had declined by 2 paise to close at 68.56 against the US dollar on Wednesday.
