Indian Rupee down by 17 paise against USD

Mumbai/UNI: The Rupee on Friday lost by 17 paise to 74.39 against the green back in early trade, on rising demand for US Dollars by bankers and importers,traders at the Forex Market said.

At the moment it was trading at 73.96, up by 26 paise against the USD.

It registered intra day high and low at 74.50 and 73.90 respectively.
