Indian Market: Sensex drops 37.78 points
Mumbai: The BSE Sensex on Monday fell by 37.78 pts to close at 54,288.61 as selling was seen in Metal, Materials, Oil and Gas and Energy stocks.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) too slipped 51.45 pts to reach 16,214.70.
The Sensex registered the day's high and low at 54,931.30 and 54,191.55 pts respectively.
The Nifty recorded the day's high and low at 16,414.70 and 16,185.75 respectively.
